Building No. 27 B on El Mazini Street in West District, a ground floor with eight floors above, began to tilt. A restoration order, No. 150 of 2023, had been issued for it, and a report had been filed because it was not carried out.
The committee for buildings at risk of collapse ordered the building removed. It was evacuated together with the neighbouring buildings, a committee of professors from Alexandria University’s Faculty of Engineering inspected it, and the Arab Contractors company shored it up.
